FUN IN THE COMMUNITY. #VHHSMustangTough

“Not only do I get to show off my guitar skills, but it also seems like a fun event for everyone!” exclaimed Kendelle Sweet, a scheduled performer for the Open-Mic-Night at MSKitchen. The communities of both Blue Rapids and Waterville have held many events for the residents of these areas throughout the years. This is partly thanks to many of the businesses that reside in this community. Racheal and Brandon Bargdill, owners of MSKitchen and MSC Boutique in Waterville, can be counted among the few.

The Open-Mic-Night will be held on Friday, March 25th at the MSKitchen in Waterville, doors opening at 6:30 pm. A night filled with fun, entertainment, music, good food, shopping, and more! Tickets are $30 dollars each and can be purchased at the MSC Boutique or you can call (785)-410-9408 to secure your spot at this event. “We are expecting around fifty people to show up, anyone is welcome to come, and I hope to see you all there!” said Racheal Bargdill during our interview. Although both MSC Boutique and MSKitchen have never held an event like this before, Racheal and Brandon both wanted to step out of their comfort zone to offer the community something special to enjoy.

The owners of MSC Boutique and MSKitchen are working with the Marshall County Arts Cooperative for this event. There will be a meal provided sometime during the show. On the menu there is delicious prime rib paired with a cold refreshing drink. Also, the MSC Boutique will be open for shopping during intermission of the show. If you have any extra questions that were not answered, feel free to message the MSC Boutique’s Facebook, Instagram, or even TikTok accounts!
