TOGETHER.“The most valuable antiques are dear old friends,” said, H. Jackson Brown, Jr .American author. Together is the theme for the month of April's photo contest. With the Journalism staff doing the kick-off for this year's yearbook. Students can have a chance of getting to see their photos in the yearbook. When students Maggie Toerber and Haily Stoudt were asked what together means to them they said, “Spending time together, and being able to have fun and just get to know each other better.” They also said that, “ with us being together and spending more time together we have a different type of trust with each other.”
Recognizing the Together theme, journalism is running another photo contest by encouraging students to submit theme photos of people together. Photos should be submitted to Mrs. Coon at lcoon@valleyheights.org. You can start submitting your photos April 5th, and the deadline for them to be submitted is April 20th. The results will be posted on the 29th.
