A SEASON TO REMEMBER. “This is the first time I’ve ever had my whole Forensics team qualify for State competition,” says Speech and Drama teacher Lynette Coon. This Forensics season a whole fifteen students have qualified for State. This has been a very exciting time for the whole team. They have seen their hard work and dedication pay off over the season, as they have won more and more awards and medals. Not only has the forensics team been successful in competition, but they have also grown so much in other ways. “Without Forensics I probably wouldn’t be half the speaker and performer that I am today. I also would be missing out on so many connections and fond memories,” says Senior, Aiden Nemechek.
State Forensics will take place on Saturday, May 7th, hosted by Bishop Carroll Catholic High School in Wichita, Kansas. These competitors will be busy working hard in preparation for State. This will and has truly been a season to remember.
