KICK OFF THE SEASON.

KICK OFF THE SEASON.

Assistant football coach, Jordan Broxterman, says, “We had a great first game against the Centralia Panthers on Friday, September 2nd, but there are definitely some improvements that need to be made. For example, giving 100 percent absolute effort in every rep in practice and games, and being more consistent.”

The game consisted of new learning experiences and many challenges. One of the most exciting plays of the game was, “Jayden DeWalt’s 50-yard touchdown!” says freshman cheerleader, Mia Vermetten. Though the end score of the game was 34-14, the boys discovered new ways to improve going into the rest of the season. Sophomore, Mack Shanks, says, “It feels awesome to be back on the field. Just happy to be back in the football environment with my boys. Everyone, even myself, still has some work to do to be where we want to be at the end of the season.”
