The New Crew. With treasure on the horizon no one can wait for this year’s play, especially the cast. Silver's Secret is the first pirate play that the Valley Heights Theater Program has produced in over 12 years. This year’s crew has many new members.

After being in the high school play for four years, Dakota Gilling, sr. had this to say, “I’m involved,  because all of my friends are a part of it. It’s a fun group to be with.” Delana Murk jr. is new to acting, but not the play. In previous years, she was a part of the tech crew, moving props on and off the stage and helping Rhonda Joseph with costumes. “I am really enjoying it so far and I’m excited to be involved in the play this year and on the stage.”

Khloe Gunn, so. said, ”Last year I was assistant stage manager and I shadowed my sister Maecyn sr. This year I was ready to step up and have a bigger role." Khloe is stage manager, she helps with all parts of the play.

“It's fun and different from the JH play. Valley Heights hasn't done a pirate play in many years so I think everyone is excited to watch it,” said Ava Smith fr. Ava is new to the School Play, but she has acted in Junior High Drama.
