TRICK-OR-TREAT.“Dressing up as Santa Claus in 6th Grade is because it was the first costume I found in my closet,” says freshman, Chad Bargdill.  Chad's favorite part about trick or treating is hanging out with his friends and getting a lot of candy. Halloween is a holiday that some people love and some people hate. Halloween first started as a fall festival that symbolizes the end of harvest. This was a tradition by the Celtic people in Europe that they called Samhain.

Everyone seems to have a personal story or memory associated with Halloween. Mr. Mike Savage says, “When I was in 4th grade, I was Frankenstein. We had the mask and I scavenged to put everything else together.”  The Student Body took a poll about Halloween. The majority of the student body doesn't go trick-or-treating after 15 years old. There are some students that stick to the “never too old to stop trick-or-treating.”
