DIVERSE DISTRICT

DIVERSE DISTRICT.

In the Valley Heights student body, most students are involved in many activities within and outside our school. With only 184 students in our Jr/Sr High School, students are very busy all throughout the school year, and even summer break. Even with all the school work and activities, students are still finding ways to pursue their passions.

With that being said, we have lots of different passions and hobbies within our student body. Freshman Jamie Thorn said, “My favorite hobby is gaming and streaming, which I partake in everyday. I have tons of fun doing it!” Sophomore Kloee Martin said, “Music is very special to me, it can say things that words can not. There is even music for every sort of emotion or occasion!” Martin can sing and play many instruments like: the flute, piccolo, piano, keyboard, and accordion. Junior Parker Winslow is very passionate about sports. He can be found helping our athletic director and coaches to be involved in any way possible. He really enjoys reading sports books, magazines, and articles! Senior Taylor Crooks said, “My passion is art. It is relaxing to do and acts as a way to express and cope with many things.”

That was just a small look into our diverse, but strong and welcoming student body and district! There are many activities for whatever interests you most, which is one of the best parts of the Valley Heights Jr/Sr High School.
