Ben Arganbright and Kaitlin Hemry

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT, “That was the worst date I ever had. And we. Are so. Over,” says author C.J Daughtery. We all have watched the perfect romantic date on our favorite show, or heard one from a close friend. There are many do’s and don’ts on a date, but we’ve all dreamed up our perfect date.

When asked what is the biggest “DO” for a date, Braylee Fritzson, Sophomore, and Kaitlin Hemry, Freshman, say food is always the way to go. “Surprising your partner, and knowing what they like to eat, and what they like to do is a big bonus,” says Kaitlin.

Braylee says her perfect date would be watching a sunset with her boyfriend. For Braylee the most important part about the date is having fun. “You don’t want your date to be boring, you want to be able to remember it”.

“Make sure if it’s your first date make it 50/50. You shouldn’t have to pay for everything, and neither should they,” says Liam Shill, Junior. Liam's perfect date is going out to eat at Olive Garden, and then going to Walmart. “Walmart is fun. There’s so many things you can find to do. Even renting movies is fun.”
