Just a friendly reminder of picture retakes at BRGS for 3rd - 6th grades next Thursday, October 26th, beginning at 8:15 am. Please notify the Blue Rapids' office by Tuesday, October 24th, if your child will be participating in retakes. Original packets must be returned at the time of retakes. This week Mrs. Meadows' class is reading Coming Distractions: Questioning Movies. To get into the movie mood, students enjoyed listening to the story with the lights off along with some buttery popcorn!




Miss Bruna's class is reading Coming of Distractions: Questioning Movies for their reading lesson for the week. To truly be immersed in the text, the students got to eat popcorn and M&Ms with the lights off like a movie.The students are so excited to get to read this story!

Mrs. Hardin's 6th grade class is collaborating in their groups to write a summary of their weekly Journeys Reading story. The whole class first put a graphic organizer together. Great job all!


Sub State brackets have been posted. The Lady Mustangs are the #2 seed and open up against Horton at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Marshall County Health Dept will be giving Flu Shots at the Jr/Sr High this Thursday, October 19, from 7:30am-9:00am. Consent forms are available in the school office for any students wishing to get a Flu Shot.
