Congratulations to Wes Denton for being name the Kansas FFA Star Farmer. This is the highest award a Kansas FFA memeber can receive. This is the first time in history a Valley Heights student has has been awarded this honor. Awesome job on this great honor.

21st CCLC Camp Exploration is ready to kick off on Monday, June 7th! Our staff has been busy planning a summer of activities that will entertain, enrich and educate! Some places shut down over the summer and everyone takes a break! Not us, "we get fired and ROCK the summer!!"

Virtual Kansas FFA Convention is starting off with a bang. Congrats to Valley Heights FFA memeber Wes Denton on winning the state Beef Production Entrepreneurship proficiency award. He will now represent Kansas during national competition.

Due to the resurfacing of the track at the High School, please stay off of it for the next two weeks!
Thanks for your understanding.

The convention.ksffa.org site is now live. Since we are registered for convention, every has access to the entire virtual convention. When you log in, you just need to put down Valley Heights FFA as the chapter. Please let Mr. Obermeyer know if you have any issues on the site.

CROSS COUNTRY SUMMER CONDITIONING will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays this summer, one session at 6:00 am and a second session at 6:30 am. Pick which works best for you! Student athletes need to meet at the HS track. Required materials include running clothes, a decent pair of shoes to run in and a water bottle. If the weather is bad we will run the halls in the HS. The reason for two sessions is there is a weight training session starting at 6:30 am, so the 6:00 am run time may work better for you if you want to lift weights at 6:30 am. Coming to summer cross country workouts does not mean you are obligated to join the team. Come out and try it and see if you like it
