At this mornings CC meet in Leonardville a 3rd through 6th grade race was run. Participating was Brax Martin who finished 5th, Osric Nemecheck had a gutsy performance after taking a spill he got up and finished 4th and Sam Staples finished 2nd. Very nice job Jr. Mustangs!
The cross country team competed at the Riley County Invitational cross country meet in Leonardville this morning. It was a tough meet with a lot of schools. Kloee Martin finished 77th, Hudson Nemechek 29th and Elliott Bachura 26th. Very nice job Mustang runners!
A beautiful example of GRIT and RESILIENCE! Many mornings I pass these students running as I enter the parking lot while it is still dark outside. Then I go to a meet and see them give every ounce of themselves as they run a race that gets very little limelight. Thank you!
