Saturday action!

JH Volleyball will play in the Axtell A team tournament tomorrow. First match against D West will start approximately at 10. Following games will be first available court.
Congratulations to the Cross Country team on their performance at the Washington cross country meet tonight. Results are as follows, Payton Woodyard 42nd, Kloee Martin 43rd. Elliot Bachura finished 14th in the JH race and Hudson Nemechek finished 20th in the HS boys race.

Riley County Invitational Volleyball Tournament Information:
-Valley Heights will be in Pool A - Pool play starts at 9:00 AM (schedule below)
-There are three courts West/East and South Gym all at HS
-Valley Heights vs. Holton - Match 4 - first available court
-Valley Heights vs. Chapman - Match 8 - First available court
-Valley Heights vs. Riley County - Match 11 - First available court
Bracket play will begin after pool play has concluded.
Semi-finals will start 10 minutes after the last preliminary match.
Finals will start 10 minutes following the semi-finals.
First warm-up will be 20 minutes for the first two matches on each court, 10 minutes thereafter.

Just a quick reminder that Waterville’s Picture Day is Tomorrow!!!!!

The Jefferson County North game scheduled for September 10th has been moved to Saturday, September 11th @ 2:00. The game will still be played at JCN.
USD 498 is currently recommending, but not mandating, masks within our facilities. However, it may be useful for our students, parents and patrons to be informed of the protocols in place when quarantine of close contacts is required. Please see the following summary of guidelines utilized by the Marshall County Health Department for contact tracing:

Quarantine:
If your child is placed into quarantine that means they will be quarantined at school if possible and this ALSO means they need to quarantine at home as well. Avoid contact with the public anyone who is not immediate family. If you child is experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 PLEASE KEEP THEM HOME. Symptoms have been very mild and include, but not limited to, fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose,(allergy like symptoms) nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea
