6th Grade had their Speed Book Talks today and they were a great success! The children had 6 minutes to discuss their books with a partner before rotating on to the next partner. Each child got to hear about 10 new books!

The 6th Graders got to tour the Old Courthouse, Pony Express, and Koester House Museums in Marysville. Followed by lunch in Lion's Park and Landoll Lanes.

Congratulations to Rosa Blaske for signing to be a cheerleader at Emporia State University next year.


Awards Night is Tuesday, May 14, at 7:00 PM. Please come celebrate with our seniors, help recognize other students' achievements, and show appreciation for the wonderful community support. All are welcome - come celebrate our Valley Heights community!

Second grade also visited VH Central Office, rode the Central Branch Railroad, and visited the Depot Museum.





The second grade classes toured Waterville last week with stops at the Ambulance Shed, Blue River Vet, Citizen’s State Bank, and My Sister’s Closet.
