
“Perseverance” is the name selected for the new Mars Rover. Over 28,000 students, including Mrs. Laughlin’s seventh grade science students, had the chance to write a persuasive essay to try and convince NASA to select their rover name. Girls and Boys Sub-State Finals will be on KNDY radio!


State Robotics Update: we made it to state but did not make it to quarter finals. Final standing for Freedom Genuik and Kris Jamieson is 23 in the State of Kansas. Thanks to Sam Caswell and Chase Morris for all their help in getting Robot 498B ready for competition.


The State Robotics tournament is ready to begin. Team 498B is making final adjustments to their robot before heading to inspections.

Early Childhood Screenings will be held on Friday, March 27 from 8:30am-12:00pm at Marysville Elementary and from 12:30am-3:30pm at Waterville Elementary. This is provided for children ages three to five.


Mr. Kenworthy visited Kindergarten today and read Dr. Seuss’s Green Eggs and Ham. Then the kids made and ate green eggs!





Sub-State Basketball games at Horton High School:
Girls will play Thursday night at 6:00 PM vs Horton.
Boys will play Friday night at 6:00 PM vs Winchester-Jefferson County North.

Tonight’s first round sub-state boys basketball game is broadcast live on KNDY FM 95.5, online at sunflower state radio.com, and the KNDY mobile app!

8th graders that finished their AR on time for the quarter had the privilege of going to the movie “Call if the Wild” today. They had read and studied the novel earlier this winter. Thank you Alex, at Astro 3, and the VH Foundation!
