
High school students spoke to the Blue Rapids Elementary students this morning about summer activities and jobs for Jr High and High School. They reiterated the importance of using the skills they learn in school through out the summer months.



Valley Heights Booster Club would like to invite you all to attend the 2018-2019 athletic banquet. It will be held on Wednesday May 1st at 6:30pm in the high school gym. We are also looking for any donations that we can add to a silent auction to raise money for our students.

Due to weather, the JH league track meet scheduled for today at Valley Heights will be postponed until Thursday at 1:00.

Had an awesome time today learning about the fashion industry in the Kansas City Area! Some take always from this trip would be follow your passion, persist and overcome! Lessons that will make all these students successful no matter what industry they choose!




Congratulations Chance a 1st grader for getting his 30 Book Challenge!


The Kindergarten students picked up trash around the school to take care of the earth in observance of Earth Day.


The Research in Ag class is completing their spring semester projects that require performing an experiment. One experiment involves freezing methods for ice cream. Today Rylie Borgerding used liquid nitrogen to freeze the mixture and record change in temperature over time.




Sixth grade made some edible solar systems today!

Happy Arbor Day! Second grade had the opportunity to plant a tree in Waterville.


Thank you to Kansas State Board of Education member Deena Horst for presenting the Challenge Award of Merit to Valley Heights. This award is based on outstanding achievement and uncommon accomplishment based on Kansas math and reading assessment results and other qualifying factors.




The sixth grade visited the junior high today.

Last night was the National Honor Society banquet and induction ceremony. It was a great night to honor our current members and welcome our new members.

Kindergarten classes have been observing caterpillars turn into butterflies, and today they were released! It has been a very exciting experience and, even though we will miss our new friends, we were happy to set them free. We enjoyed our snack outside while watching the butterflies explore!
