Waterville Grade School students had a great day celebrating Kansas! Students enjoyed rotations with guest presenters including a Park Ranger from Homestead National Historical Park sharing a buffalo trunk, the Blue Rapids Museum providing a bingo game for us, Regina Blaske with Parents as Teachers reading us a Kansas story, Cindy Kulp sharing beekeeping with us, old time games during PE, and square dancing during music! Thank you to all our guests for making this day special for us!

The 4th graders did a study on Marshall County Dirt celebrating Kansas Day. They layered the different stages to build a good "cup" of dirt out of wafers, pudding, cookies, pretzels and sprinkles. Eating dirt never tasted soooo good!

Holy Cow! Congratulations Valley Heights!!
FFA Members and staff had all hands on deck yesterday hosting the Kansas Northeast District FFA Speech, Employment and Agronomy contests for 30 FFA Chapters and 260+ students for the day! We received many complements about our school and FFA members throughout the day from advisors and judges. We couldn't have done it without all of our wonderful help!!
