Great day for some kick ball. #MustangProud

Valley Heights Jr/Sr High School staff and admin would like to thank the parents and students for their participation in the fall Student Success Meetings. The junior high had participation from 71 of the 74 students and parents. The high school had participation from 93 of the 108 students and parents. This gives our Mustang family a 91% attendance rate! Great job and thank you for your support!

There will be limited attendance for the JH volleyball games tonight. If you do not have a voucher you will not be able to buy a ticket. Masks are required at all indoor activities. The football game will still have no limit on attendance.
Valley Heights would like to thank the employees at Community Memorial Healthcare for their donation of two cases of Kleenex’s for our school!

Just a reminder, Jr/Sr High Student Success Meetings will be tomorrow, Monday, Oct. 5 and Wednesday, Oct. 7 in the high school gym, starting at 5:30 pm. Your scheduled time was sent in the progress report earlier. Please remember to wear your masks and limit participation to the parents and student, no siblings please, unless absolutely necessary. We look forward to seeing you and sharing the accomplishments of our students!
Congratulations to Aiden Nemechek and Payton Woodyard on a great showing at the Centralia cross country meet this morning. Payton placed 24th and Aiden 65th!

Homecoming Parade Information
On Friday, October 2nd the Valley Heights Homecoming Parade will be held in Waterville at 2:30pm. Waterville Elementary 1st and 2nd graders will walk up to main street and watch the parade with their class. Blue Rapids Elementary will not be attending the parade this year. We are working on the possibility of students being able to watch the homecoming activities remotely from school. If your child is not scheduled to go to the homecoming parade and you so desire him/her to go then you as a parent will have to make arrangements to pick up your child from school. If you have any questions please contact your child’s school.
