Summer is here and it looks like the freeze is over!! Numerous sources are confirming that the administration will release the FY25 21st Century Community Learning Centers funds to the states on Monday! This victory for children and families is a direct result of strong communities at work – the amazing media outreach, communications with lawmakers, mobilization of parents and allies, and so much more. By coming together to be heard, you have helped our students, families, schools, and made our country stronger! #AfterschoolWorks

Even though they have frozen our funds, Valley Heights 21st CCLC Camp Exploration continues to come out smelling like a rose! We stayed hot within the community by volunteering at the Harvesters Food Truck, and continue to learn, stay safe, healthy, and have fun all summer long! #AfterschoolWorks

Reminder: Due to Revenue Neutral Rate deadlines, the July Regular Board meeting will be held tonight, July 14th, at 6:00 p.m. at the District Office.
REMINDER: Harvesters will be in Waterville Tuesday, July 15. Truck is being rerouted and anticipated to arrive at 10:30 with distribution to begin at 11 am. Please be patient! If your family has others needs, please the Family Advocate in the care bus nearby.
