Fourth graders experimented in the activity, "Bubble Trouble," to compare two different types of "lava," thin and thick. They used this information to figure out why volcanoes have different shapes and why some explode.

Results from the Concordia Cross Country meet. In the JH meet Ember Taylor - 12th with a time of 21:52 and Sam Staples - 4th with a time of 14:42. In the HS race Lindsay Gray - 15th with a time of 24:51, Kebeb Zimmerman - 2nd with a time of 18:13, Langston Gray - 5th with a time of 18:54, Henry Bachura - 40th with a time of 23:55. Great job Mustangs!!

It's Poster Contest Time! Marshall County Conservation District is sponsoring the poster contest again this year. Kindergarten through 6th graders can participate. Poster board is available in the offices at each Elementary building. Flyers have been placed in the students' mailboxes and is also below with all the details. Have fun!
