REMINDER: If you need food for your Family's Table, the Valley Heights Food Panty at the Methodist Church in Blue Rapids will be open this Saturday, August 31, 9-10am to serve families in the Valley Heights communities.


Mrs. Meadows' class is learning about volcanoes in science. Students are exploring the past and present patterns of where volcanoes exist on the Earth. Today, they started plotting volcano locations on a world map and will look for patterns.





The 6th graders are rapping to the 8 parts of speech. Looks like a few of them have rapped before! For inquiring minds, The Eight Parts of Speech are nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions and interjections. Enjoy!

If you haven't had a chance to support the cheerleaders, there is still time. Deadline to purchase socks for their fundraiser is this Thursday, August 29th. Orders will be picked up at all VH office locations on Friday. Order form attached! Thanks!
