The second grade classes chose a community service project for the end of our Social Studies unit. They chose to clean up the playground. They got most of the black mulch back into the playground and cleaned out the toy shed! Way to go second graders!!

Mrs. Meadows' class is exploring the process of weathering, including root-wedging and ice-wedging. Students used sugar cubes as a model for rocks and experimented to understand the process of weathering. This experiment showed why rocks at the tops of mountains are jagged, while those at the bottom are rounded.

VHS tickets are a hot item today. Mrs. Wetter has been very observant with good behaviors from several students. Ravyn took initiative to clean up someone else's spill ; Sydnee, Ava, Ryenne and Lexi invited another student to join them at Jumpstart; Dirk and Zoey partnered up in Reading and worked really hard together. Mrs. Joseph awarded Ashley a VHS ticket for helping everyday with the chrome books. Great Job everybody!
