The Mustangs take the second game 18-8, run ruling Republic County in thr 6th inning.

The Lady Mustangs grab game two 5-3! Season record moves to 4-2.

The Mustangs take game 1 vs Republic County winning by run rule in the 6th inning. Final Score: 10-0

Mustangs take game 1 in the softball series, 10-7!

Kindergarten classes went to the high school art room for a visit! The high school students read us The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Mrs. Miller taught us how to make a collage in the shape of a butterfly! This goes along perfectly with our unit on living things and the caterpillars in our classroom!

It might look like you are seeing double, but you are not! Mrs. Joseph and Mrs. Hardin recognized Connor as a VHS student. Mrs. Joseph saw Connor help Ms. Jaqi and Mrs. Hardin commended him for being a great teacher! Way to go Connor!

The 4th graders are so close to reaching all 50 states for their project! We are missing Nevada, Maryland, and Connecticut. We have even received postcards from England, Greece, Canada, and Australia! Thank you all for your support!

The 4th grade students finished their March Madness reading competition today. The top readers from both classes were Easton Turner and Ava Bargdill. The winning team for the most AR points score was Kitty Kat Jr. with 40.6 points! Congrats 4th graders!



Come out and support the Valley Heights baseball and softball teams as they take on Republic County. The opening pitch will be at 4:30 PM for both teams. Go Mustangs!


REMINDER: BR Food pantry is open this Saturday. March 30, 9-10 am at the Blue Rapids Methodist Church. Serving all families in the VH community. #foodforyourfamily


It's been busy day for students receiving VHS tickets! Izzy received one for picking up trash in the playground area without being asked. Steven was helpful to another student while on the bus. Carter, Ethan, Alakii, and Chance received tickets for being a great friend to one another. Awesome job everyone!
