Gameday @ Republic County!

What a great group of students! Not only are they leaders in their classrooms, clubs and teams, they rise above when it comes to the impact they have on our elementary students! Thank you all for sharing your gifts with Santa's Gift Shop!

It's one of the best days of the year in Valley Heights! True collaboration and joy shine during Santa's Gift Shop! K-6 students are paired with 9-12 students and the staff members of all the buildings come together for such a great day! Thank you all who make a difference!

On this day, 82 years ago, the Japanese Empire attacked Pearl Harbor, claiming the lives of 2,403 service men and destroying or damaging 19 U.S. Navy ships, including 8 battleships. Today, in Waikiki, Hawaii, the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade will take place. One of Valley Heights's own, Olivia Skalla, is marching in the parade as an All American Cheerleader with the Varsity Spirit Cheerleaders. What an incredible honor and amazing opportunity! We are so proud! If you would like to watch the parade, the link is provided below!

Here is the schedule for the JH basketball games at Luckey:

We realized a correction was needed for our music concert program. We had the first grade teachers listed incorrectly. We apologize for this mistake.

Miss Bruna's class enjoyed on Monday getting to learn about text features by helping their patients that had problems not know what text features to use and why. The students are learning about text and graphic features in the reading curriculum. Text Features Doctor Day was a success and a hit with the students.

Mrs. Meadows' fourth graders had "Medical School" yesterday! Our skill for reading this week is about text and graphic features. Students were given ten patients with a variety of symptoms about text features. Students had to "diagnose" their patients and tell why that text feature would best help them.

Wondering where to sit tonight to get the best view of your child? Here's where the K-2 students will be standing!

Reminder: There is no Colt's Round-Up after school today, December 6 due to the Elementary program or tomorrow December 7 because of Santa's Gift Shop.

Furious rally to cut the lead to 6 but the Mustangs fall to Marysville 57-46.

Lady Mustangs over the Marysville Bulldogs 53-41!

Mrs. Meadows recognized Rainaa with a VHS ticket for working with someone in class who didn't have a partner. Not surprised with the great smile she has! Way to go Rainaa!

Let Valley Heights FBLA provide you the best wrapping service around! Bring your gifts! We wrap while you enjoy refreshments or run errands and pick up your gifts after we are done! This Sunday from 3-6PM out at the high school!

There will be no C-team boy's game today at Marysville.
