Thank you to Alexis, Harmony, Saige, Kayla, Khloe, Saige (she pulled a double shift), Jayden and Kaison. These high school students gave up a portion of their evenings during the BRGS Student Success Meetings to help with childcare while parents visited with teachers. All your help was very much appreciated!!

JH Volleyball and Football today at Republic County.
Volleyball will begin at 4:15 PM and have a running order of A, B, A, and B games.
Football will begin at 5:00 PM.

This Friday, October 6th, we will recognize all staff and students in grades K-8 at halftime of the home football game. With about 2 minutes to go before half, the PA announcer will ask everyone to congregate on the track down by the concession stand. There are two big gates; we will meet just on the other side of those on the track. Per KSHSAA rules, we cannot be on the grass. We will need to make sure all students stay on the track. Mrs. deBoer and I will be there with other staff making sure students are getting lined up etc. When halftime comes, we will walk to the center of the track in front of the grandstands and stop. The PA announcer will read a short explanation of the award. We will then exit the track the exact same way we came on. The game is against Marysville and starts at 7 PM. This is a very high honor and we want to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the teachers, students and staff. Thank you all, Mr. Staples.

Want to help a kid out?
Seeking new tennis shoes or some in good condition. Accidents happen, mud puddles happen, "forgot my gym shoes" also happens...out grown or worn out...kids need shoes to get through the school day. Schools That Care has a back up. #sharingiscaring

Marshall County Health Dept will be visiting the Blue Rapids Elementary and Waterville Elementary on Thursday, October 12 with Flu Shots. Letters and Consent forms will be sent home with students next week.

Today, the 6th grade leadership team, Connor, Brock, Kalen, Dayton, and Mia, brought in some great goodies for the BRGS teachers. This will surely put smiles on their faces during SSMs tonight. Thank you all for your kindness!

Amber, our awesome lunch lady, gave Brooke a VHS ticket for being helpful by cleaning up a mess someone else had made in the lunchroom. So proud of you Brooke and thank you for showing Value to others!
