Waterville Grade School celebrated Kansas Day with an afternoon full of fun! Thank you to the Homestead National Monument for sending a Park Ranger, and the Blue Rapids Museum volunteers for the fun BINGO game! Students also made butter, danced, sang, and played old time games!

The 3rd graders are celebrating Kansas Day by making homemade bread. Each class had their own bowl of bread to watch raise. Then they "punched" it down to prepare it for baking bread loaves. This will be served along with homemade jelly at 3rd grade's Family Engagement Night tonight starting at 5:45 pm at Blue Rapids Elementary. Hope to see you there.

Valley Heights Video Production will be live streaming Friday's matchup with Republic County. Be sure to tune in if you cannot make it to the game! Follow the link below to our YouTube Page.
