Each school day, millions of children ride school buses. Did you know that the school bus is one of the safest vehicles on the road? Less than 1% of all traffic fatalities involve children on school transportation vehicles. However, children are more at risk when approaching or leaving a school bus. It’s important for all drivers, as well as parents and students, to understand school bus safety.

Mrs. Reinecke's class enjoyed doing concentric art using leaves and creating spider webs that sparkle! Not only did the students learn about the importance of patience, but they were able to use their creativity. The final results are pictured and hanging in the halls.

Reminder: School dismisses @ 12:30!

Junior High Girls' basketball practice will start next week. We will practice on 10/22 and 10/24 from 3:30-5:30 at the Blue Rapids Gym.
Regional Cross Country is coming up on October 25th at Marion. Girls run at 10am and Boys at 11:10am.

Julia Heinen, Miss Teen Kansas, spoke to the 3rd - 6th graders delivering a great message on anti-bullying. October is anti-bullying month and was perfect timing hearing from her. Thanks Julia!
