Valley Heights is proud to announce that Mrs. Meadows’ 4th grade class has been crowned Kansas State Reading Champions. This championship came as a result of reading the most minutes per team over four weeks during READBOWL 2025. The World Championship of Reading, a global reading competition put on by Read With Malcolm, the Youth Literacy Initiative of NFL Super Bowl Champion and children's book author Malcolm Mitchell.
The seventh annual competition was held from January 8 (the day of the College Football Nationship Game) through this past Super Bowl Sunday. More than 280,000 students, from all 50 states and 14 countries participated in READBOWL 2025. What a huge accomplishment! Congratulations!
