Today we remember and honor all the men and women who have served for our country. Many have given the ultimate sacrifice and that's something we can never forget. Friday the KAY organization hosted our annual Veterans Day assembly. Jerry Zayas was our guest speaker and gave a great presentation to honor Lyle Godbout. We enjoyed music by our Valley Heights Band and Choir along with hearing poems read by some of our KAY members. It's a small gesture we try to put on to thank our local Heroes.
Practicing Gratitude daily can make you happier and eliminates stress. Write down 3 things you are thankful for, share them with family or a friend, keep a journal of the things you are grateful for. #HealthyHabits
Happy Veteran's Day to all past and present Veterans. Thank you for your service and sacrifice to our great country.

Today is NCKMEA high school auditions and junior high concerts! Good luck to Carter, Calee, Abigail, Juliet, Osric, and Guenhwyfar as they audition for the high school honor band/choir. Congratulations to Sandra, Lucy, Brooklyn, Lexi and Jack for being accepted into the middle level band/choir. Their concert is today at 2:30 at Junction City High School.
