Valley Heights 21st CCLC Camp Exploration has reached its final day! It's been such a great summer! When people say "aren't you glad it the last day?" We reflect on the days and hours spent with the students in the summer as some of the best of the year! If you spend 8 minutes, 8 hours or 8 weeks working with this staff and group of students, you'd be glad to go one more day! You realize how lucky we are to have the program, students, and staff that we have in our great community! #AfterschoolWorks

Just trying to help clarify all locations and places items need to filled out and/or signed, so I am going to post the Physical and concussion forms and what exactly needs to be filled out on them.
Highlighted in yellow are the items that need to be filled out. Highlighted in purple are the places that require signatures either from the parent or student athlete.
I believe that local doctor’s offices have the physical forms but sometimes it is helpful to have them filled out before you go. You can find them on the Valley Heights website and print them off or the high school office has copies as well.
Please don’t forget about the concussion forms! Both the physical and concussion forms need to be completed in full (every signature) before an athlete can practice. Looking forward to the beginning of something special!!

Summer is here and it looks like the freeze is over!! Numerous sources are confirming that the administration will release the FY25 21st Century Community Learning Centers funds to the states on Monday! This victory for children and families is a direct result of strong communities at work – the amazing media outreach, communications with lawmakers, mobilization of parents and allies, and so much more. By coming together to be heard, you have helped our students, families, schools, and made our country stronger! #AfterschoolWorks

Even though they have frozen our funds, Valley Heights 21st CCLC Camp Exploration continues to come out smelling like a rose! We stayed hot within the community by volunteering at the Harvesters Food Truck, and continue to learn, stay safe, healthy, and have fun all summer long! #AfterschoolWorks
