Waterville Elementary students are spending the afternoon learning about the history of Kansas. Sessions include pioneer clothing, butter making with homemade bread, Holmstead National Historical Park Ranger, a baby goat, and old time games and dancing!
The FBLA chapter did a great job at District Future Business Leaders of America today! The students did presentations and tests on a variety of topics. We are proud of their hard work and dedication they had put into for preparing. The following pictures are students preparing and polishing their presentations! We can't wait to see their results and see who gets the opportunity to attend state in April!
Valley Heights FBLA went to Republic County today to compete at the district level! Super proud of this bunch and those that also did their Objective tests prior to this event! Results will be once they are received!

We have found makeup dates for the two home basketball games that had been canceled due to weather. We will play Minneapolis on Feb. 5th and Rock Creek on Feb. 19th.
The 4th graders did it again! Both classes are in the Top 20 for the Read Bowl! Keep up the great work!
Good luck to the JH Lady Mustangs basketball team today! The girls will be facing off against Hanover in the Semi-Finals of the BVL Tournament at Washington starting at 4:45 PM in the main gym.

I am so unbelievably proud of these young adults today!! Today these individuals competed in arguably some of the toughest contests in our organization and showed tremendous amounts of courage by getting themselves out there - individually - in front of judges to show off their hard work!
They have spent hours and hours working to memorize the creed, preparing their speeches, practicing speeches, preparing resumes and cover letters, and participating in mock interviews. And their hard work PAID OFF!!

There will be a 2 hour delay due to dense fog, freezing rain and slick road conditions for Valley Heights Schools. No morning Kinder Prep,, Pre School. No morning transportation for Highland Community College. Breakfast will not be served.
