Junior High football and volleyball open their season today at home vs Onaga. Volleyball starts at 5 PM and the football will begin at 6:30 PM. A B- team football scrimmage with Onaga will also start at 5 PM.

Good luck to our Cross Country runners competing in their first race of the season at Concordia!

Chase earned a VHS ticket from Mrs. Joseph for picking up the playground and Callie earned one for helping a classmate. Miss Bruna was proud of Callie for being a positive leader. Way to be leaders!

Homecoming at VHHS will be here before we know it!!! We want to share that on Friday, September 20th, we will be dismissing classes district wide at 12:30 pm!! We are inviting everyone to join us in Blue Rapids for the Homecoming Parade at 2:00 pm. Go Mustangs!!

Coach Steinfort got her 200th win tonight and celebrated extra due to a clean sweep vs Blue Valley, Axtell, and Frankfort!

The Lady Mustangs beat Frankfort in two sets! Varsity and JV both went 3-0 on the night! Great work, ladies!

The Lady Mustangs travel to Blue Valley to compete in a quad against Blue Valley, Frankfort and Axtell. The games begin at 5 PM.

We had some VHS ticket recipients last Friday! Spencer repaired Mrs. Joseph's Chromebook vault; Cody left his group to join a fellow student without a partner during group; Trevor took the last juice but after hearing another student didn't get one, gave his up for him; and finally, Ashley, Hadley, Olivia and Jack cleaned up after fellow students in PE class. Great job everyone!
