Juniors attended a career fair at Centralia high school today! They were able to interact with not only local career sectors but also state wide. Juniors were also given the opportunity to meet colleges, trade schools and military branches to begin thinking of their future!

Horticulture students took a field trip during 2nd hour today over to Riverside Market, for our Floral Design Unit we are learning how to make a corsage and boutonniere!
A huge thank you to Sue Carlson for showing us some greenery, filler and flowers commonly used and giving us a wiring and taping demo! We can't wait to come back next week and put together our pieces!!

Any active military or veteran and one guest will be admitted free of charge to the Sectional football game on Friday, simply by showing their driver's license, which has a seal indicating the person is a veteran and signifying service. If the individual has not renewed their license in the last couple of years, a veteran ID card or any proof of identification is acceptable.


The 4th graders are getting creative! Students created a family feather to fill our "Thankful for Families Turkey." They also made a "Turkey in Disguise!"

4th grade decided to celebrate Veterans Day through creating a cool Veterans Day poster thanking all veterans for their service and a fact hunt where the students learned facts about Veterans Day and veterans in general. Happy Veterans Day!
