🎀What: Christmas Rope Wreath Workshop - assemble and arrange your own Christmas Wreath. Students will be leading the workshop and demonstrating skills needed to assemble the wreath. We will have a jolly time with snacks, drinks and good company!
🎀When: Wednesday December 17th from 5-7pm
🎀Where: Valley Heights Ag Classroom
🎀Registration: $40 per attendee, RSVP via the Google Doc. (seats will be held in order of payment received) Payment and RSVP due by Friday 12/5/25

Planning on Baking Pies for Thanksgiving? VH students are planning to make Christmas Meals next month for VH families in crisis or need. Would you make and freeze extra pie(s) to donate to a Christmas meal? Contact the Family Advocate 612-202-7366 for more info. Thank you!

The Valley Heights 4th graders created a coloring puzzle and learned a lot of facts today about Veteran's Day. Thank you to all veterans both in and outside of our Valley Heights communities. We appreciate everything are veterans do or have done!
We had some special visitors at Waterville Grade School today! Sam Sinclair, Officer Sinclair, and Michael Johnson spoke to first graders about Veteran's Day and their military experience. Caleb Tryon spoke to 2nd graders about his military experience. Thank you for your service!

Today we remember and honor all the men and women who have served for our country. Many have given the ultimate sacrifice and that's something we can never forget. Friday the KAY organization hosted our annual Veterans Day assembly. Jerry Zayas was our guest speaker and gave a great presentation to honor Lyle Godbout. We enjoyed music by our Valley Heights Band and Choir along with hearing poems read by some of our KAY members. It's a small gesture we try to put on to thank our local Heroes.
Practicing Gratitude daily can make you happier and eliminates stress. Write down 3 things you are thankful for, share them with family or a friend, keep a journal of the things you are grateful for. #HealthyHabits
Happy Veteran's Day to all past and present Veterans. Thank you for your service and sacrifice to our great country.

Today is NCKMEA high school auditions and junior high concerts! Good luck to Carter, Calee, Abigail, Juliet, Osric, and Guenhwyfar as they audition for the high school honor band/choir. Congratulations to Sandra, Lucy, Brooklyn, Lexi and Jack for being accepted into the middle level band/choir. Their concert is today at 2:30 at Junction City High School.
