As part of School Board Appreciation Month, USD 498 proudly recognizes Sharon Osborne for her dedicated service as a member of the Board of Education since 2012. Sharon's leadership, commitment to students, and deep understanding of education have made a lasting impact on our district. In addition to her years of board service, Sharon has also served USD 498 as an educator, further demonstrating her passion for public education and our community.
Sharon concluded her board service in December 2025, with Monty Shanks stepping into the role in January. We were honored to celebrate Sharon at the December Board of Education meeting, where her family joined us to surprise her as she attended her final meeting.
On behalf of USD 498, we extend our deepest appreciation to Sharon for her many years of service and leadership, and we wish her all the very best in the years ahead.

Second semester is approaching quickly and we are starting of the semester with a bang! VH High will be celebrating with King and Queen of Courts and Winter Formal. Here is a list of the spirit days to bring the spirit up and get ready to take on D- West Friday January 9th, 2026. Crowning for King and Queen will take place during Boys Varsity Game.
