
Here is the modified schedule for softball games at Onaga tomorrow.
Game 1: Jackson Heights vs Horton (at noon)
Game 2: Onaga vs Doniphan West (at 1:30)
Game 3: Winner of Game 1 vs Valley Heights (25 minutes after previous game)
Finals: 25 minutes after conclusion of Game 3.

The Lady Mustangs win in dominant fashion, defeating Wabaunsee 15-0. They advance to the regional semifinals and will play the winner of Jackson Heights/Horton tomorrow at 4 PM.

The Valley Heights Golf team is headed to state after a 3rd place finish at regionals!
Jayden DeWalt also finished 5th as an individual.
The team will travel to Turkey Creek Golf Course in McPherson following Memorial Day Weekend.

Due to impending weather, Valley Heights USD 498 will dismiss at 3:00 today. Bus routes will run at this time.

The regional softball games at Onaga will run ahead of schedule to beat the weather. This could have our softball girls playing as early as 3:00 PM.

Good luck to the Lady Mustangs, who will open up Regional competition against Wabaunsee at 4:00 PM in Onaga. Admission: $6 for students K-12 and $8 for adults.

Tonight at practice, we recognized senior Tessa Miller. Thank you for your dedication and commitment the last two years to our softball program. You will be missed!



Earlier this week, 4th grade had a Starbucks day where they read their poems they made in class and at the Family Engagement Night, and did math stations. Students also started creating their United States molds that they will finish next week. What a fun week in 4th grade!

Fourth graders presented their famous Kansans writing pieces in wax museum style. Students portrayed their person they researched and did a fabulous job doing so. Some famous Kansans presented were Amelia Earhart, Clyde Cessna, Blackbear Bosin, and Georgia Neese Clark Gray.
